Leader and Manager Coaching

A professional coach can help you become more self-aware, work through problems that may be holding you back, and expand your leadership capacity for larger roles. Ohio State, through the Human Resources Coaching Services Program, offers several options for external coaching. Your role, needs, and funding determine which type of engagement is right for you.

Manager Foundations: Getting Started with Technology

A training on Ohio State’s technology platforms, tools and resources will be available for managers, manager liaisons and administrative professionals. Build your foundation and confidence in using administrative technology that assists you in performing your work and managing employees. This eLearning will cover topics such as submitting requests in HR Connection, Workday basics, Microsoft 365, BuckeyeLearn for managers, and more. This training will also guide you in finding and using tools that support your work. This session is available in BuckeyeLearn.

Staff and Manager Career Development Grants

Human Resources in partnership with the University Staff Advisory Committee (USAC) offer Staff and Manager Career Development Grants to advance the university’s mission of creating and discovering knowledge to improve our communities. Applications for fiscal year 2025 are anticipated to open in May 2024 with awarded funds available for use during fiscal year 2025 (July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025).
