Emily focuses on candidate experience and logistics for search process, candidate travel and interview itineraries.
Emily joined The Ohio State University in November of 2020 as the executive administrator to Ohio State President Kristina Johnson, PhD before joining the talent acquisition team in January 2022. Prior to coming to Ohio State, Emily worked for 17 years in the private sector for a well-known community leader and philanthropist in the Columbus area.
Emily holds a BS Ed in Special Education from Ohio University and a Master’s in Social Work from The Ohio State University.

Matt has 15+ years of overall Human Resources experience, primarily focused in corporate and academia recruiting. He has extensive experience supporting senior leaders with hiring top talent. Matt joined Ohio State in October 2021, having started his career supporting the College of Engineering with their faculty and associated faculty recruitment. Prior to joining Ohio State, he served as a Vice President in Recruiting with JPMorgan Chase for 8+ years, focused in Information Technology recruitment. Matt has a history of building strong relationships, by providing valuable consultative support to his clients, along with high-quality engagement with candidates through the recruit-to-hire process.
Matt is native to southeast Ohio and attended Ohio University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management Communications.

Dannell serves both the Ohio State campus and Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. She is passionate about helping ensure a successful transition for new employees and their families who are relocating to Columbus. Dannell brings with her 24 years of professional real estate experience with the last eight years focusing on employee relocation.
Prior to joining Ohio State, she worked at Nationwide Insurance as a senior relocation consultant, in which she collaborated with talent acquisition to help develop and distribute updates to relocation packages and policies. Her most recent role was with Graebel Relocation where she worked on the Amazon Team overseeing provisions, costs, and negotiations related to the associate’s relocation process. Dannell has held her real estate license since 1998 and earned her Certified Relocation Professional designation in 2018.

Jean joined the team in June 2023. She brings with her 22 years of professional relocation experience with the last 17 years focusing on Household Goods movement. Jean serves the Ohio State campus by helping with the relocation of Faculty. Jean looks forward to sharing her expanded professional and personal knowledge of relocation with all newly hired faculty.
Prior to joining The Ohio State University, Jean worked at SIRVA Inc. holding various positions within her 22 years there. The latest position she held was as a Senior Household Goods Auditor and Domestic/International Aging Specialist. Jean earned her Certified Relocation Professional designation in 2006 and received her Real Estate certificates in 2000.

Shannon has more than 10 years of experience in human resources at Ohio State, bringing depth and institutional knowledge to her role.
Shannon joined Ohio State in 2012 with the Department of Administration and Planning as a Human Resources Consultant where a majority of her role was leading recruiting efforts for facilities, construction, real estate and public safety. She transitioned to the talent acquisition team in the spring of 2021. Shannon’s strength is building relationships of trust and respect with her business partners while leading them through the search process.
A native of Morgantown, West Virginia, Shannon attended Ohio Dominican and holds a Master’s in Business Management.

Allison works on building higher education’s top teams in an engaging and inclusive environment. As a Columbus native with more than 10 years in corporate, agency and higher education recruiting, Allison joined The Ohio State University in June 2017. She is passionate about creating memorable experiences for candidates exploring Ohio State and directs searches for senior leadership across the university. Prior to her career in recruiting, Allison held marketing and public relations director roles for corporate and non-profit companies in central Ohio. Allison is a proud Ohio University Bobcat.
