Child Care Program Overview

Ohio State is pleased to provide access to high-quality child care as part of its total rewards package. In order to serve as many Ohio State students, faculty and staff as possible, the Child Care Program offers a variety of enrollment options, including full day, half-day, partial-week and evening care. The Child Care Program serves each child and family with exceptional early care and education, regardless of the type of enrollment or the amount of time a child spends in care each week.

Life Insurance

Ohio State provides access to exceptional benefits that support your health and financial goals as part of your total rewards package. Life insurance gives you and your family financial security. A variety of life insurance options are available.

Faculty and Staff Tuition Assistance

The Faculty and Staff Tuition Assistance Plan pays the instructional, general and non-Ohio resident fees (up to 10 hours per term) for eligible employees who take courses at Ohio State.

Merit Process

The Ohio State University merit process determines salary increases, implements the change in university systems and notifies faculty and staff. This process takes place every summer.

HR Statistics and Reports

The Office of Human Resources provides analysis and reporting of human resources management information, including demographics, internal and external markets for faculty and staff salaries, and mandated federal and state reporting.

Talent Acquisition OHR Talent Acquisition Services

OHR Talent Acquisition provides consulting services that promote, reinforce, and deliver the university's talent acquisition strategy by partnering with colleges and units to navigate through established hiring processes. This is a free resource offered through OHR to the university community.

Dependent Tuition Assistance

The Dependent Tuition Assistance Plan (Plan) pays a portion of the instructional and general fees for an eligible employee’s spouse or unmarried dependent children who take courses at Ohio State.
