The Distinguished Staff Award, the university's highest honor for staff, recognizes staff members who have made an impact at The Ohio State University. The annual award honors 12 outstanding staff members for their exceptional leadership, accomplishments, dedication and service to the university. The nomination deadline is January 24 at 5 p.m.

Unused Compensatory Time to be Paid Out Beginning in 2022

Unused compensatory time will be paid out starting in 2022 per the previously revised Scheduling Work and Overtime Compensation Policy 6.10. The policy states that compensatory time must be used within 365 days. The policy requires that any earned compensatory time that is not used within 365 days will be paid out with the next pay period.

Employee Review Period of Career Roadmap

Career Roadmap is a modern compensation and job classification model that will provide transparent career paths and pay ranges for staff. The employee review period is the next step toward implementing this multi-year initiative. It is the opportunity for staff to see where their position is in the framework.
