Open Enrollment is the annual opportunity for you to evaluate your benefit options and make your elections. Reviewing your benefits allows you to ensure they will continue to meet your needs for the upcoming year. You are encouraged to review this information to learn about all benefits offerings and make an informed decision in order to select the benefits that best fit your needs. All of the benefits content on the OHR website is printer-friendly, should a paper copy be needed. In addition, you may contact OHR Customer Service to request a paper copy.

2020 Open Enrollment begins Friday, November 1, 2019, and ends Thursday, November 14, 2019. All elections made during Open Enrollment are effective January 1, 2020.

Ohio State will provide an informed enrollment resource, myBenefitsMentor. This resource is a personalized and data-driven tool that provides medical plan recommendations to help you estimate your costs for 2020. In early October, a paper statement will be mailed to the home address on file in the HR system. In addition, an online interactive version of myBenefitsMentor will continue to be available by accessing Employee Self Service. The statement and the online tool are made available to help you make informed decisions about your health coverage needs for next year.
