As part of a comprehensive effort to enhance the health, safety and wellbeing of our community, the Office of Human Resources has created a new online training opportunity for the university’s Sexual Misconduct Policy. The training will be available on BuckeyeLearn beginning January 23, 2017.

As part of a comprehensive effort to enhance the health, safety and well-being of our community, the university recently revised its policies on sexual misconduct. This comprehensive focus includes a close partnership with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights.
As Ohio State continues to support flexible work arrangements - whether remote, in the office or hybrid - all employees need to appropriately document their work locations. All faculty and staff who are working remotely in any capacity need to complete an online Flexible Work Agreement and have it approved by their manager by September 30.
Dr. Jeff Risinger will serve as the university’s next senior vice president of talent, culture and human resources, effective August 16, 2021. He will provide leadership across the university to support our values, help advance our diversity and inclusion efforts, and continue to foster a Buckeye culture that positively impacts our entire community
HR guidance about planning for the return of employees to campus was shared with faculty, staff and graduate student employees across the university to establish work expectations as we reactivate our campuses. Safe and Healthy Buckeyes also provides guidance on protocols and preparation.
Human Resources has outlined time and attendance guidance for university employees. The guidance provides expectations for documenting: time worked, meal periods, paid breaks, start times and tardiness, unplanned absences, approving time worked and accountability.
Following the pause for Workday implementation, Career Roadmap is resuming activity with a new launch date in early 2022. When launched, Ohio State’s Career Roadmap will be a new approach for hiring, compensating and developing staff.
The enrollment window for autumn semester 2021 tuition assistance ends Friday, August 27, 2021. Applications are required each applicable semester to receive faculty and staff tuition assistance and dependent tuition assistance.
Faculty and staff have an opportunity to be randomly selected to receive four complimentary tickets to the Ohio State vs. University of Tulsa football game on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 3:30 p.m. Opt-in by Friday, Aug. 20, at 11:59 p.m.
