Updated Family and Medical Leave Policy Effective February 1, 2015
The Ohio State University, including the Wexner Medical Center, provides job-protected Family and Medical Leave (FML) to eligible faculty and staff for up to 12 work weeks (480 hours) of leave during a 12-month period based on qualifying events.

Applications for Dependent Tuition Assistance (DTA) must be submitted each term for each dependent. Faculty and staff can apply online using Employee Self Service or via paper DTA applications.

Workday Notifications for Merit Increases
Merit notifications are being provided via Workday for the 2025 fiscal year to all Ohio State employees who receive a merit base pay increase and/or merit lump-sum amount. Your merit notification will specify if you are receiving a base pay increase, a lump sum increase or both. If you are not receiving a merit increase this year, you will not receive a notification.
