One of the changes in Ohio State’s approach to 2017 wellness incentives is the introduction of Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA). An HRA is an employer-funded account from which you can be reimbursed tax-free* for eligible heath care expenses.

Appreciation Football Game recognizes faculty and staff
To recognize faculty and staff’s great contributions, the university held the third consecutive Faculty and Staff Appreciation Buckeye Football Game on September 3. More than 11,000 employees opted in to be randomly selected to receive four tickets to the Ohio State football game against Bowling Green State University.

Lissa Kidwell’s dad says she is a “blessing from above” who entered his life with the assistance of Ohio State’s adoption benefit. Aaron Kidwell, a GIS analyst in Ohio State’s Office of Planning and Real Estate, and his wife Lisette adopted Lissa in 2015.

Ohio State sets date for Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) implementation
Ohio State's timeline to implement updated federal overtime regulations is set for October 30, 2016. This is the date affected employees will become eligible for overtime. The first biweekly pay for employees who make this change will be November 25.
