The World Health Organization's annual World No Tobacco Day is Friday, May 31. As a reminder, tobacco use on Ohio State property is prohibited. In recognition of the day, faculty and staff are encouraged to review the policy and available cessation resources and information.

Self-Disclosure of Criminal Convictions reminder

To promote a safe Ohio State community, the Self-Disclosure of Criminal Convictions policy requires faculty, staff, graduate associates and student employees, appointees, volunteers, third party staffing vendors and individuals interacting with minors to self-disclose criminal convictions that occur within three business days of the conviction.

HR Service Delivery Pilot Kicks Off

On July 1, Ohio State launched a pilot of the new Human Resources operating model through the Enterprise Project’s HRSD Team as part of the university’s broader HR Transformation efforts.

Enrollment window open for autumn term dependent tuition assistance

The enrollment window for autumn semester 2019 is open June 24, 2019, through August 23, 2019. Faculty and staff can apply online or with a paper application. Dependent tuition assistance applications must be submitted each term. The student must have a social security number on file with Buckeye Link.

Ohio State benefits: Seeking medical care while traveling

Anyone enrolled in an Ohio State faculty and staff medical plan automatically has access to Ohio State Travel Assistance when traveling outside Ohio and abroad.
