Enrollment Open for Summer Term Dependent Tuition Assistance

Dependent tuition assistance applications must be submitted each term. The enrollment window for Summer semester 2020 is open March 9 through June 12, 2020. The student must have a social security number on file with Buckeye Link to receive dependent tuition assistance.

Enrollment window for tuition assistance now open for autumn semester

Applications for tuition assistance benefits must be submitted each term, and the enrollment window for autumn semester 2021 is June 28-August 27, 2021. Eligible faculty and staff can apply in Workday (recommended) or with paper forms for dependent tuition assistance and faculty and staff tuition assistance.

Return to campus guidance

HR guidance about planning for the return of employees to campus was shared with faculty, staff and graduate student employees across the university to establish work expectations as we reactivate our campuses. Safe and Healthy Buckeyes also provides guidance on protocols and preparation.

New Time and Attendance Standards

Human Resources has outlined time and attendance guidance for university employees. The guidance provides expectations for documenting: time worked, meal periods, paid breaks, start times and tardiness, unplanned absences, approving time worked and accountability.

Career Roadmap resuming development with 2022 launch timeline

Following the pause for Workday implementation, Career Roadmap is resuming activity with a new launch date in early 2022. When launched, Ohio State’s Career Roadmap will be a new approach for hiring, compensating and developing staff.

Staff Career Development Grant online applications accepted until July 31, 2021

Applications for the Staff Career Development Grants will be accepted from July 1 until July 31, 2021. Eligible staff can apply for $1,250-$2,000 for professional development opportunities occurring between September 2021 through April 2022.

Policy Reminder: Self-Disclosure of Criminal Convictions

To promote a safe and secure environment for the Ohio State community, disclosing all prior criminal convictions is required and any new convictions must be reported within three business days of the conviction. Review the Self-Disclosure of Criminal Convictions policy 4.17 for more details.
