The Ohio State University is invoking its Weather or Other Short-Term Closing Policy 6.15 to support the health, safety and well-being of the university’s workforce. The university will close all campuses December 27-29, 2021.

As Ohio State continues to support flexible work arrangements - whether remote, in the office or hybrid - all employees need to appropriately document their work locations. All faculty and staff who are working remotely in any capacity need to complete an online Flexible Work Agreement and have it approved by their manager by September 30.

Ohio State names new senior vice president of talent, culture and human resources
President Walter “Ted” Carter Jr. has named Katie Hall as senior vice president of talent, culture and human resources, pending approval by the Board of Trustees. Hall has served as the interim senior vice president since last spring and has been with Ohio State for 24 years.
