First Quarter Deadline for Lifestyle Spending Account Claims

Ohio State’s Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) reimburses employees up to $125 quarterly for eligible expenses related to health, fitness, family, emotional and social wellness. The first quarter ends March 31. Employees have until April 15 to submit a claim for eligible expenses incurred January 1 – March 31. Unused LSA funds do not carry over.

1095-C Tax Form for Employees

Employees will soon receive tax form 1095-C for the previous tax year as part of the university’s reporting requirements under the Affordable Care Act. The 1095-C contains information about medical coverage offered to employees and their dependents by Ohio State. Employees can choose via Workday to receive the form online or by mail.

Ohio State names new senior vice president of talent, culture and human resources

President Walter “Ted” Carter Jr. has named Katie Hall as senior vice president of talent, culture and human resources, pending approval by the Board of Trustees. Hall has served as the interim senior vice president since last spring and has been with Ohio State for 24 years.
