New tools including a calculator on the leave options page can help estimate how much accrued leave can be used in combination with emergency leave offered through the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Other new resources include: a step-by-step flow chart, guidance for supervisors and FAQs about expanded vacation donation and accrual.

When launched in 2021, Career Roadmap will introduce a job catalog, pay ranges and career path visibility for Ohio State staff. The next phase in development is working to ensure consistent position mapping across all colleges and units.

The Staff Career Development Grant provides staff an opportunity to further their growth and development. Eligible staff can apply for up to $1,250 for individuals, $1,750 for groups of 2-10 and $2,000 for groups of 11 or more towards professional development opportunities related to job and/or career goals.

Buckeyes are building a better community! Bucks for Charity is a simple way for faculty, staff and retirees to give to your favorite local nonprofit organization - conveniently one-time or through payroll deduction. Choose from over 250 central Ohio organizations that support a variety of causes.
In celebration, there are several virtual events and activities as well as discounts available for Ohio State faculty and staff. You can also show appreciation for your colleagues with personalized messages and virtual cards available to send from the Kindness at Ohio State website.
Ohio State's Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) vendor will transition to a new participant portal. To accurately convert account information to the new system, there will be a claims blackout period from July 22-August 2, 2020.
Dependent tuition assistance applications must be submitted each term. The enrollment window for autumn semester 2020 opened Monday, July 6 and closes Friday, August 28. Faculty and staff can apply online or with a paper application. The student must have a social security number on file with Buckeye Link to receive dependent tuition assistance.

Applications for dependent tuition assistance must be submitted each semester. The enrollment window for summer semester 2020 closes Friday, June 12, 2020. Students must have their social security number on file with Buckeye Link in order to receive the Dependent Tuition Assistance.
