Share thoughts on Ohio State’s total rewards

Faculty and staff input and perspective can help Ohio State as we evolve and continue to provide total rewards that meet the needs of our employees.

The Total Rewards Employee Preferences Survey is collecting feedback from full-time, benefits-eligible employees on Ohio State’s total rewards offerings. Total rewards typically include components such as compensation, health coverage, retirement, time off, flexible schedules, professional development and various other programs designed to support you.

Eligible employees received a confidential link the week of January 13 from Mercer with the subject line “Ohio State 2025 Total Rewards Survey.” Please take approximately 15 minutes to contribute your thoughts on what is important to you.

Ohio State values employee input, and this survey is an opportunity for employees to share thoughts on pay and benefits.

As Ohio State invests in its faculty and staff, this feedback is a key component in providing comprehensive benefits that reflect your needs and priorities. Sharing your feedback can help inform decisions and guide the strategic direction for total rewards offered to you by Ohio State.

Mercer is an independent human resources consulting firm contracted by Ohio State to administer the survey. Your responses are confidential and will only be collected and analyzed on the secure servers of Mercer. No one at Ohio State will have access to your individual responses and the results will only be provided to Ohio State in aggregate.

How to complete the survey

  1. Find your email from Mercer and use the confidential link.
  2. If you cannot find the email with your unique link, access the survey through the Mercer website. When entering the survey, you will be asked for your Employee ID. You can find your Employee ID in Workday under your profile or the top number on your BuckID.

The survey will be open until Friday, Jan. 24, at 11:59 p.m.

If you encounter any technical problems while completing the survey, email osurewards@mercer.com.
