Remarkable staff members are making an impact and inspiring others

In a community of people who advance excellence and inspire others, 13 exceptional Buckeyes staff members are being recognized with Ohio State’s highest recognition for staff.

The Distinguished Staff Awards honor remarkable staff members for their contributions to Ohio State’s mission. The 2024 recipients were nominated by their peers and carefully chosen by a selection committee for their outstanding achievements, community engagement, creativity, service, passion for inclusion and demonstration of the university’s Shared Values.

One recipient has been selected for the Presidential Staff Award, a special distinction for a candidate who has a passion and commitment to diversity, community engagement, affordable education, access for all students, and demonstrates the shared values.

“It’s an honor to work among such inspiring colleagues,” said Katie Hall, senior vice president, talent, culture, and human resources. “Being a part of a community of people who are excited about what we do and why we do it gives us the momentum for accomplishing anything we set out to do.”
