Jeff Risinger will be leaving his role as senior vice president of talent, culture and human resources to join the University of Kansas Health System. His last day with Ohio State will be April 23.
Under Jeff’s leadership, HR teams advanced many important initiatives during a critical time for our university. He has been an advocate for the work of HR, has focused a great deal of attention on the full optimization of Workday and has been a champion of the university’s Shared Values.
To help ensure stability and continuity of leadership during this transition period, Katie Hall, associate vice president for strategy and optimization and chief of staff for the Office of Human Resources, will serve as interim senior vice president. Katie brings many years of experience at Ohio State, most recently as chief of staff, working closely with Jeff on all of HR’s strategic projects and initiatives. She will begin her new role immediately following Jeff’s departure.
