Applications for tuition assistance benefits must be submitted each semester, and the enrollment window for spring semester 2023 ends January 13, 2023. Eligible faculty and staff can apply in Workday (recommended) or with paper forms for both dependent tuition assistance and faculty and staff tuition assistance.
To receive dependent tuition assistance, the student must have a Social Security number on file with their university student record. To add a Social Security number, use the change of record form on the Registrar’s website.
Both eligible parents will be required to enroll in dependent tuition assistance to qualify a dependent for the 75% dependent tuition assistance benefit. Tax treatment will be determined per term and applied, if applicable, to the parent who completes and submits dependent tuition enrollment first.
Additional resources about how to enroll can be found by expanding the “Enrollment” accordion on both faculty and staff and dependent tuition pages. In addition, written step-by-step instructions are located in the Administrative Resource Center.
Employees and their dependents should look at their statements of account to verify that tuition assistance was applied.
