Staff Compensation Policy

The Salary Administration & Classification policy has been renamed the “Staff Compensation Policy 3.10,” and the content has been revised effective Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022. The update merges two policies, and most content is carried over from the previous policies.

Changes are intended to foster equitable and consistent compensation practices and align with Career Roadmap, which is being implemented in Workday this month.

Additionally, some of the Classified Civil Service Rules have been updated and five other Human Resources policies are being updated to align with the Staff Compensation Policy and the implementation of Career Roadmap.

Supplemental retirement enrollment calendars to change April 1

Most Ohio State employees are eligible to participate in the 403(b) and 457(b) Supplemental Retirement Accounts (SRA). Due to changes in federal law, Ohio State’s enrollment rules for 457(b) plans will align with those of the 403(b)
