Annual merit letters for faculty and campus staff available in Workday

Annual merit letters are now available in Workday for regular faculty and staff employees in colleges and university business units.

These letters are generated in Workday when an employee receives either a base pay merit increase or a lump-sum merit payment.

Find your merit letter in Workday using the following steps:

  1. Under your profile icon, click View profile.
  2. Under your name, click Actions and select Compensation.
  3. Select View Compensation Review Statement History.
  4. Click on the 2022-2023 PDF to open and view it.

Note: This letter includes only merit pay, not other pay adjustments such as market, promotional increases, etc.  In addition, it does not include non-discretionary bonuses, which are paid when an employee achieves pre-defined metrics/achievements as documented in a letter of offer or agreement.

Colleges and units may also provide a separate letter to employees.
