New enrollment requirements for tuition assistance begin summer semester

Applications will be required each applicable semester to receive faculty and staff tuition assistance. Eligible faculty and staff can apply in Workday (recommended) or with paper forms. The enrollment window for summer semester 2021 is March 22-May 14, 2021.

Applications for dependent tuition assistance must also continue to be submitted for each applicable semester. Starting with summer 2021, both eligible parents will be required to enroll in dependent tuition assistance to qualify a dependent for the 75% dependent tuition assistance benefit. Tax treatment will be determined per term and applied, if applicable, to the parent who completes and submits dependent tuition enrollment first.

The student must have a Social Security number on file with their university student record to receive dependent tuition assistance. To add a Social Security number, use the change of record form on the Registrar’s website.

The process for verifying dependent eligibility for tuition assistance is pending review for implementation. Additional details will be shared as they are finalized.
