PHA deadline change. To receive premium credit, complete by December 14, 2020

To reduce your cost for health care and receive the full premium credit for 2021, complete a Personal Health and Well-Being Assessment (PHA) by Monday, Dec. 14, at 11:59 p.m.

The PHA will not be available for completion starting December 15 to prepare for the transition from PeopleSoft to Workday. The PHA should be available again in early January.

In 2021, the amount of available premium credit will be $25/month for enrolled faculty and staff, or $40/month when their enrolled spouse also completes the PHA. Due to limitations associated with COVID-19, a verified biometric screening does not need to be completed in 2020 to earn premium credit for 2021.

Faculty and staff currently eligible for benefits who plan to enroll in a medical plan effective January 1, 2021, should complete the PHA by December 14 to earn the full premium credit for all of 2021.

If you wait until 2021 to complete the PHA and a verified biometric screening, it may take up to 30 days after completion to begin earning the premium credit. Individuals whose coverage is not effective until 2021 can also begin earning premium credit within 30 days after completing these requirements after their coverage is effective.

The PHA, found in the Virgin Pulse portal or Virgin Pulse mobile app (located under “Programs”), is an online self-evaluation of your overall wellness and only takes about 15 minutes to complete.

More information is available on the Your Plan for Health website.
