STRS Retirement Planning Seminars

The Office of Human Resources is hosting two retirement education seminars on September 13, 2018, for members of the State Teachers Retirement System (STRS). STRS representatives will lead the seminars.

This three-hour workshop explains how to calculate your final average salary, payment options for receiving STRS Ohio retirement benefits, how and when to purchase service credit, health care issues and funding. Retirement Countdown,” 2-4 p.m., Hays Cape Room in the Ohio Union, is for STRS members who are 12-18 months from retirement. STRS educators will provide a walk-through of the Service Retirement Application, and will conclude by giving an overview of what to expect during the retirement process and will address any questions you may submit during the presentation. Flexible Work Policy 6.12 helps the university achieve a reliable and productive work environment that enables staff to balance work and personal needs. If you are interested in establishing a flexible work arrangement, work with your supervisor and review the policy for specific instructions.

Complete the sexual misconduct education for faculty and staff

To help identify, disrupt and report sexual misconduct, the online course “Report = Support: Identifying and Responding to Sexual Misconduct” has been assigned to everyone’s BuckeyeLearn transcript. More information is on the Title IX website.
