Open Enrollment information: myBenefitsMentor coming in the mail and online

Faculty and staff eligible for Ohio State medical benefits have access to a helpful resource, myBenefitsMentor. This tool models projected medical and pharmacy expenses based on anticipated health care needs for 2018. myBenefitsMentor has updated claims data online in Employee Self Service.

In addition, those enrolled in an Ohio State medical plan prior to August 1, 2017, will receive a myBenefitsMentor statement at your home address in mid-October.

These resources can help employees decide which medical plan may be the best choice for their needs and help determine their personal contribution to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for 2018. Health Care FSAs allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars that can be used to reimburse eligible health or dependent care expenses.

Open Enrollment for 2018 benefits is  November 1-14, 2017. Join an Open Enrollment webinar or sign up for a benefits forum at go.osu.edu/learn-oe.
