The Ohio State University is full of unique opportunities for faculty and staff to live out their passions.
Caitlin McGurk, associate curator for Ohio State’s Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum, is surrounded by hundreds of thousands of comic books and strips each day.
The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum houses the world’s largest collection of materials related to cartoons and comics, including original art, books, magazines, journals, comic books, archival materials, and newspaper comic strip pages and clippings.
McGurk, who had envisioned herself working around comics since high school, got into the comic business working at an auction house as a teenager.
