Facilities Operations and Development Receives APPA 2016 Award for Excellence

Staff in the Facilities Operations and Development (FOD) department at The Ohio State University recently received national recognition for their outstanding achievements in facilities management.

The Association of Physical Plant Administrators (APPA) acknowledged Ohio State with the 2016 Award for Excellence.

FOD, part of Ohio State’s Office of Administration and Planning, strives to maintain a healthy and beautiful campus. The department works on a variety of projects around campus, including design, construction and environmental health and safety.

Ohio State was one of three universities, along with New Mexico State University and the University of Texas at San Antonio, given the 2016 Award for Excellence.
