Faces of Administration and Planning

Ohio State staff members from the Office of Administration and Planning’s Diversity Council, winners of the 2016 Distinguished Diversity Enhancement Award, recently concluded a year-long diversity series, called Faces of Administration and Planning.

The series profiled ten staff members from a myriad of positions in the Office of Administration and Planning, from community relations to human resources to transportation and traffic management. The Diversity Council partnered with the Office of Administration and Planning’s Marketing and Communications team to produce videos of each profiled staff member.

Reminder: Drug-Free Workplace Policy enhances safety

To provide for the health and safety of students, employees and visitors, Ohio State prohibits the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession, or use of alcohol or controlled substances. Please review the Drug-Free Workplace Policy for more information.

Revised Paid Leave Programs Policy

To provide greater equity amongst Ohio State faculty and staff, the Paid Leave Programs policy has been revised on an interim basis, including changes to parental leave eligibility and vacation accrual for post-doctoral researchers and associated faculty.

Revised Workplace Violence Policy

As part of Ohio State’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe campus for faculty, staff and students, the Workplace Violence Policy has been revised to better define workplace violence and what to do in the event that a violent situation arises.

Revised Reward and Recognition Policy

The Reward and Recognition policy has been revised to align the policy language with the Expenditures Policy, and to ensure that the language is consistent with tax law.
