I am excited and pleased to introduce our recently redesigned Office of Human Resources website.
The OHR website now reflects input and feedback from many faculty, staff and student employees who provided direction on what they wanted to see in new features, improved navigation and more engaging and up-to-date content.
We learned from our colleagues around campus, as well as peer institutions, and importantly, our external partner, Basecraft, how to better organize the information available on our site to make it more intuitive to easily find information. Now when you visit the site, you’ll experience improved navigation that is based on the type of user you represent. Based on your current status, you’ll select a path uniquely designed to provide you with the information that is most relevant to your needs and interests.
The new site also represents a tremendous amount of work by the core team who led the redesign and our HR subject matter experts who reviewed literally thousands of pages of content from the previous site to make much needed updates to improve the accuracy of the information available online.
I trust you’ll also appreciate the new emphasis on highlighting the vibrant people and stories that make Ohio State the wonderful community that we affectionately refer to as “Buckeye Nation”.
And last, but certainly not least, there are a number of new features that have been incorporated to help visitors to the site browse benefits offerings, eligibility and other information in a more interactive way to answer anticipated questions.
If you’re visiting Ohio State’s Office of Human Resources website for the first time, or you are a long-time faculty or staff member, we hope you find the information helpful in addressing your interest in careers at Ohio State and the HR programs and services available. Please take a look around, there is content for everyone to explore.
