Introducing Gateway to Learning, New Professional Development Resources

In support of faculty and staff professional growth, the Office of Human Resources has launched a new robust learning and development website, Gateway to Learning.

Gateway to Learning offers resources for career planning and growth, managing and leading others, handling change, mentoring and many other topics. It also includes descriptions of training in BuckeyeLearn and provides links to learning opportunities across campus.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to engage in the many forms of professional development – through experience, working with others and training. Development can include on-the-job experiences, tasks and problem-solving, feedback, coaching, working with mentors, reading, classes and webinars.

In addition to the new Gateway to Learning website, the Office of Human Resources Learning and Development team offers workshops on diversity and inclusion, as well as management and professional development topics. Additional resources for growth include professional development grants and elearning available in BuckeyeLearn.

Everyone can be a life-long learner and should seek the available resources to support his or her unique journey. Visit Gateway to Learning for more information about professional development and to explore development opportunities.
