Autumn Semester Enrollment Window Opens for Dependent Tuition Assistance
The enrollment window for dependent tuition assistance for the 2018 autumn semester is June 25 - August 24, 2018. For dependent tuition assistance, applications must be submitted each term.

The Ohio State University offers eligible employees and their dependents the opportunity to advance their education at Ohio State. For dependent tuition assistance, applications must be submitted each term. Autumn 2018 term enrollment window is June 25 – August 24, 2018.

This workshop will help participants gain a better understanding of the impact of attitudes about people with disabilities and the effect they can have on our relationship with each other.

This 90-minute instructor-led workshop will examine stereotypes associated with common disabilities and illustrate the participants’ emotional reactions to specific disabilities. Participants will gain a better understanding of the impact of attitudes about people with disabilities and the effect they can have on our relationship with each other. The training will conclude with tips on respectful etiquette and language in creating a comfortable work environment for all employees.

Members of the university community have the right to be free from all forms of sexual misconduct which impede the realization of the university’s mission of distinction in education, scholarship, and service. This 3-hour instructor-led workshop is for STRS members who are 5 to 10 years from retirement. This workshop details how to calculate your final average salary, payment options for receiving STRS Ohio retirement benefits, how and when to purchase service credit and health care issues and funding.

Attendees will receive a take-home workbook that includes a retirement planning case study and worksheets to assist with determining: estimated expenditures; value of current savings in retirement; and the amount of savings yet needed to reach retirement financial goals.

If you’re 12 to 18 months from retirement and ready for the "nuts and bolts" of the retirement process, don’t miss this session.

Retirement Countdown will walk you through the Service Retirement Application, including: plan of payment options, designation of single or multiple beneficiaries and enrollment in the STRS Ohio Health Care Program. We’ll conclude by giving you an overview of what to expect during the retirement process and will address any questions you may submit during the presentation.

All participants receive a retirement booklet that highlights the key steps in the retirement process month-by-month.
