Leadership Giving

Donors at Leadership Levels will receive special acknowledgment and invitations to The Ohio State University’s Bucks for Charity finale luncheon and other events.

Donors also may be eligible for special recognition groups supported by local federations participating in Bucks for Charity (descriptions below).

Federation Recognition Programs

EarthShare Ohio
Personal recognition for gifts over $100.

Mid-Ohio Foodbank
Recognizes Friends to End Hunger for gifts of $500 – $999; Partners to End Hunger for gifts of $1,000 – $4,999; Advocates to End Hunger for gifts of $5,000 – $9,999; Visionaries to End Hunger for gifts of $10,000 and above. Monthly sustaining donors are recognized as Pledge Partners.

United Negro College Fund (UNCF)
Recognizes gifts of $1,000 or more.

United Way of Central Ohio
Recognizes Community Builders for gifts of $1,000 to $4,999; Cinquefoil Fellowship for gifts of $5,000 to $9,999; and Alexis de Tocqueville Society for gifts of $10,000 or more. Also accepts membership in the Key Club (African American community), PRIDE Council (LGBTQ community), Women’s Leadership Council for gifts of $1,000 or more, Young Leadership Group (45 and under) for gifts of $2,500 or more, and LINC (30 and under) for gifts of $250 to United Way Impact Fund.

United Way of Delaware County
Recognizes gifts of $1,000 or more; Alexis de Tocqueville Society: gifts of $10,000 or more; Women’s Leadership Network: Diamond Level, gifts of $1,000 or more, Pearl Level, gifts of $500-$999, and Ruby Level, gifts of $25-$499.

United Way of Fairfield County
Recognizes Pillars Club gifts of $1,000 to $1,499, Bronze; $1,500 to $2,499, Copper; $2,500 to $4,999, Silver; $5,000 to $9,999, Gold; and $10,000, Alexis de Tocqueville Society.

United Way of Licking County
Recognizes leadership gifts of Bronze Circle of $500-$999; Silver Circle of $1,000-$1,999; Gold Circle of $2,000-$4,999; Sylvia Flory Sinsabaugh $5,000-$9,999; Tocqueville Society $10,000+.

United Way of Union County
The Pillar Society recognizes the following annual giving levels; membership includes recognition in the annual Membership Directory and invitations to social networking events. Alexis de Tocqueville Society – $10,000 and up; Diamond – $5,000 to $9,999; Platinum – $2,500 to $4,999; Gold – $1,250 to $2,499; Silver – $900 to $1,249; Bronze – $600 to $899.
