Ohio State strives to offer a total rewards package that meets the needs of you and your family. Please note that benefit rates may vary based on your compensation, full-time equivalency (FTE) and classification.

Note: Employees who hold intermittent positions are only eligible for OPERS and STRS retirement benefits.

Medical & Prescription Rates

Participate in YP4H and reduce your cost for health care. Eligible individuals who completed a Personal Health and Well-Being Assessment (PHA) and biometric health screening in 2024 by December 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. will receive a PHA premium credit in 2025. Learn about more ways YP4H can help reduce your healthcare costs.

  • Enrolled faculty and staff are eligible for a $300 annual premium credit ($25/monthly paycheck; $12.50/biweekly paycheck).
  • Enrolled spouses are eligible for a $180 annual premium credit ($15/monthly paycheck; $7.50/biweekly paycheck).
