If you are a full-time regular or term employee (75 – 100 percent FTE), your compensation tier is determined annually by taking your base pay as of October 1 and any additional pay earned during the prior 12 months. Once your compensation tier is established each year prior to open enrollment, it will not be adjusted until the following year, even if your base pay changes or you earn additional pay.
