In Workday, all eligible Ohio State employees accrue vacation and sick time biweekly. The rates below are all based on 100% FTE so your individual amount will be prorated based on FTE. Accrual rates for all position classifications can be found below.

In Workday, monthly-paid employees accrue sick time on a biweekly basis. 9-month faculty will accrue sick time for all dates within the academic calendar, August 15 – May 14. If May 14 or August 15 fall within the middle of the period, the faculty member will only accrue for the days up to and including May 14 or on and after August 15 within that biweekly period. Note: 9-Month Faculty are not eligible for vacation time off.
