Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week is an annual celebration of Ohio State faculty and staff that recognizes their invaluable contributions to the university. Throughout the week of July 21, 2025, several activities are planned for faculty and staff.

Get ready to cheer on the Buckeyes! Faculty and staff will have the chance to enter to win an opportunity for four complimentary tickets to the annual Ohio State faculty and staff appreciation football game. Information to opt-in will be shared in the coming weeks.
Ohio Stadium Tours – July 22 and 23
In recognition of Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week, we are pleased to offer self-guided tours of the Ohio Stadium on:
- July 22: 1 – 3 p.m.
- July 23: 3 – 5 p.m.
The self-guided tours hosted at Ohio Stadium will begin at the North Rotunda where you will be greeted by a Redcoat, who will direct you along the concourse of the stadium to the stops on the east side. Starting with the band center, the recruit room then locker room. From there guests will head down to field level where they can take pictures and hang out before heading to the press box above the field and exiting through the Huntington club entrance on the west side of the stadium.
Rules for the tour:
- Please do not touch or take anything that is set on the concourse or the rooms throughout the tour including equipment, food, beverages, coolers etc. There will be Redcoats stationed along the concourse to help direct.
- No footballs, toys or balls of any kind on the field.
- No photos in the locker room.
- Please do not deviate from the path provided on the map.
Non-employee guests are permitted to attend. Tours are full.
Faculty Club
Celebrate Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week at The Faculty Club July 21–25 as we open our doors to all Ohio State staff! Enjoy 25% off lunch, served Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations: 614-292-2262.

Chadwick Arboretum and Learning Gardens
Get to know your closest public garden and arboretum! This tour will highlight our beautiful Lane Avenue Gardens, which includes our Labyrinth, Hosta Collection and Conifer Collection.
You can choose from four tour options including:
- Tuesday, July 22, 2025: 12:15 p.m. (45 minutes)
- Wednesday, July 23, 2025: 5:15 p.m. (1 hour)
- Thursday, July 24, 2025: 9:15 a.m. (1 hour)
- Friday, July 25, 2025: 4:15 p.m. (1 hour)

Arne Slettebak Planetarium show “Wayfinders”
July 22 and July 23 at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Wayfinders is a live-action, fulldome film that tells the 5,000-year story of voyaging in the Pacific and teaches non-instrument celestial navigation techniques. The fulldome film will be followed up with a live program.

Program Length: 40-50 minutes plus live program/Q&A

The 2025 Ohio State Fair – Good Any Day Tickets (July 23 – August 3)
In honor of Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week, we’ve partnered with the Ohio State Fair to provide discounted tickets for the Fair! The 2025 Ohio State Fair is July 23 – August 3. Take part in the tradition of the Ohio State Fair. With big-name entertainment, educational activities, hundreds of exhibits, and one of the largest junior livestock shows in the nation!
Starting Monday, July 21, at 10 a.m., Ohio State faculty and staff members can purchase $8 admission tickets. This discount is available through July 27 at 4 p.m., or until promotional maximum quantity is reached. Purchase Ohio State Fair tickets with the password 25Buckeyes to receive the discounted price. Each employee can purchase up to eight tickets.
Columbus Clippers
The Columbus Clippers invite all Ohio State employees to the award-winning Huntington Park for games July 22-27 as the Columbus Clippers battle the Buffalo Bisons. The promotions for game series include:
- July 22 – Tansky Tuesday Dime-A-Dog Night
- July 23 – Dollar Days ($1 Select Concession Items)
- July 24 – Business Day Special, Thirsty Thursday (drink specials on beer, margaritas and soft drinks)

During July 21- July 25, 2025, Ohio State faculty and staff will receive a 25% discount off any food/drink, ice cream, waffle products and beverages when you show your Ohio State work ID at all Columbus Jeni’s locations.
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
Ohio State employees can purchase tickets to the Columbus Zoo or Zoombezi Bay at a discount. Tickets must be purchased online. Purchase Columbus Zoo and Aquarium tickets by using the log in information below:

OSU Scarlet Ribbon Gift Shop
The OSU Scarlet Ribbon Gift Shop, located in the Wexner Medical Center’s Main Campus Hospital and East Hospital, will have a 30% discount on Wednesday, July 23, only.
Shop For New Nike & Buckeyes Gear
During this challenge, visit The Team Shop locations at the Schottenstein Center (555 Borror Drive) or 15th & High (9E 15th Avenue) for a special 15% discount. Discounts are for in-store purchases only and you must show your Ohio State faculty/staff ID to receive the mark down. If you aren’t able to visit The Team Shop during the month of July, remember that faculty and staff get a 10% in-store discount at all other times of the year with a valid ID.
Be Kind @ Ohio State
