Academic Leader Development
The Offices of Academic Affairs and Human Resources collaborate on orientation and ongoing development opportunities for academic leaders including deans, associate and assistant deans, department chairs and school/center directors. Academic Leader Development consists of a series of seminars over the course of a year that address such issues as leader roles and responsibilities, promotion and tenure, faculty review and development, evaluating instruction, legal issues, managing staff and financial stewardship.
HR System Training
The Office of the Chief Information Officer offers training on HR systems around topics such as Hiring an Employee, Service Dates, and Time and Leave. Visit the OCIO's training website to view a class catalog and register.
PeopleSoft HR 9.2 and You
Memorial Day Weekend 2014, Ohio State will re-implement PeopleSoft, our HR Information System. The re-implementation will affect business processes, and change how you do you work on a daily basis. Over the coming months, we’ll host a series of awareness sessions to share high-level information on a variety of topics.
