FLU BUG: Bite Back with a Free Campus Vaccination
Faculty, staff, and Medical Center personnel can receive a free flu vaccination at one of several campus locations from October 6 through November 13.
All adults are encouraged to get vaccinated, and it is strongly recommended for those who are considered high risk—50 years of age and older; those with heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, asthma, cancer, or HIV/AIDS; and women who are pregnant.
This year, the campus flu campaign will include two dates for adult dependents (18 years of age and older) of faculty and staff who are enrolled in a university medical plan.
To register, visit osuhealthplan.com/members/wellness and choose the flu shot sign-up link. Remember to bring your Buck ID or Hospital ID and your employee identification number.
Watch OSUToday for future updates in early October on vaccine availability.
Covered Dependent Flu Vaccinations
Flu shots will be available free of charge to adult dependents (18 years of age or older) of faculty and staff enrolled in an Ohio State medical plan only at the following locations on the following dates.
Dependents must bring their health insurance card for identification. Faculty and staff also may receive a flu shot at this location. Be sure to register at osuhealthplan.com/members/wellness and choose the flu shot sign-up link.
