Tax Treaty Renewals for 2009

Nonresident aliens who are working under a tax treaty with their country must annually renew their tax information with the university. In November 2008, Payroll Services electronically sent reminder notices to affected nonresident aliens.

Affected faculty, staff, and student employees will need to complete the renewal process in GLACIER, the nonresident alien tax compliance system, and submit their treaty exemption form to the Office of Human Resources (OHR) Tax Office as soon as possible for the tax changes to appear on their pay.
