Ever forgotten to re-order your mail order prescriptions until you were almost out of medication? If you use Express Scripts’ home delivery service, you can receive automated notifications that will increase your control of your prescriptions and pharmacy benefit. These telephone or e-mail notifications can remind you of refills, notify you about any delays in obtaining information from your doctor, and let you know when your order is received and shipped.
To select the way you’d like to be notified, simply log on to express-scripts.com, click on “Account Settings” on the left panel, and choose “Set Notifications Preferences.” Once you receive a notification, you can also use Express Scripts’ web site to view more information about your order’s status or quickly and easily refill your prescriptions.
Other types of automatic notifications include (only available by phone at this time):
- Curascript specialty refill reminders to reorder your prescription or allow you to speak to a specialist.
- Patient advocacy, which contacts you regarding your therapy or for assistance in contacting your doctor.
