Living Well Phase III
After listening to your suggestions, beginning January 2009, the Center for Wellness and Prevention (CWP) will offer Living Well Phase III. This one-year program will offer you a monthly support/education group with weekly or biweekly weight checks. While we don’t recommend weekly weight checks with us, this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t weigh yourself weekly. There’s also a resting metabolic rate test (MedGem), available to you anytime during your one-year enrollment.
January’s group meeting topic is “Balancing Life.” And if you’ve already read about it in Living Well, there’s good news—we’ve rewritten all of our behavior topics in response to many of your suggestions, so this will be even more informative!
To evaluate Living Well Phase III, participants will complete a questionnaire focusing on current exercise, nutrition, and behavior habits. We welcome your comments at any time.
To learn more about the weight management programs and gym memberships offered at CWP, attend orientation on Mondays at 6 p.m. or call (614) 293-2800.
