Register for Ohio State’s Text Message Alert System
Employees can register their cell phone numbers with the OSU Department of Public Safety for the university’s new text message alert system, designed to keep the public informed of potential emergencies. Register for text messaging at buckeyealert.osu.edu.
As a reminder, WOSU 820 AM is the primary method of communicating information about OSU during an emergency, in conjunction with OSUToday, osu.edu, and local media outlets.
