New Prescription Drug Administrator Reminder
Beginning January 1, Express Scripts replaced Medco for both retail and mail-order prescription drug services. You will automatically receive prescription drug benefits through Express Scripts if you are enrolled in one of the university’s medical plans.
We anticipate that Medco has automatically transferred any active, open home delivery refills for a non-controlled substance to Express Scripts. Members may want to contact Express Scripts at 1-866-727-5867 prior to their first refill in 2008 to verify the successful transfer of their prescription and to allow ample time to obtain a new prescription from their physician, if necessary.
