Online Tools for University Health Plan Enrollees
NGS American processes medical claim payments. Use the NGS self-service web site at ngs-american.com/welcome.asp to find:
- Enrollment and Eligibility Information: Confirm demographic information, such as address and date of birth, as well as benefit eligibility for various services.
- Claim and Balance Information: View or print your Explanation of Benefits (EOB), which has valuable information such as copay, deductible and payment amounts, and patient responsibility. An EOB displays your annual deductible or out-of-pocket maximums met for the year. Other benefit maximums are also viewable.
- Medical/Prescription Identification Cards: Order additional identification cards here.
- Network Provider Directory: Search for network providers based on specialty and/or location, if enrolled in a network medical plan.
Express Scripts processes prescription drug claims. Find valuable information about the university’s prescription benefits by becoming a registered member at express-scripts.com. For specialty medications, visit curascripts.com.
- Cost Savings: Compare cost savings options for your prescription medications.
- Mail Order Services: Receive reminders to refill your prescriptions and place your order for open refills.
- Claim and Benefit Information: Review your prescription history and get detailed information related to your coverage.

- Pharmacy Locator: Find a network pharmacy close to home, work, or where you are traveling.
Delta Dental processes dental claim payments. Find the following information online at consumertoolkit.com:
- Eligibility: Verify eligibility for you and your dependents.
- Claim Information: View and print your EOBs, which indicate when claims were paid and patient responsibility.
- Benefit Information: Review up-to-date benefit information, such as how much of your yearly benefit has been used to date and how much is still available. Also view levels of coverage for specific dental services.
- Dental Identification Cards: Print your own member identification cards here.
- Provider Search: Locate network providers based on location or specialty.
Vision Service Plan (VSP) processes vision claims for routine eye exams and corrective lenses. Access VSP’s online tool at vsp.com/member/htmls/member_home.jsp to find:
- Eligibility and Benefits: Verify enrollment and determine what vision services you and your enrolled dependents are currently eligible to receive.
- Claim Information: View previous vision services including the date of the exam, provider’s name, and savings received under your plan.
- Member Reference Card: Go here to print a VSP member reference card for all enrollees.
- Provider Search: Locate a VSP participating provider close to home or work.
