New Your Plan for Health Web Site Launches October 29

When you sit down at your computer on October 29, take a minute to visit yourplanforhealth.com. You'll see that the Your Plan for Health (YP4H) web site has been completely overhauled. Earlier this year, the Office of Human Resources selected industry-leader WebMD as its new partner because of its innovative web site capabilities.

Why are we re-developing yourplanforhealth.com?

We heard your frustrations, concerns, and questions regarding the current web site and recognized that it was time to re-develop it so you could sign in once with your user name and password. After your initial registration and sign-in, you'll be able to take your Personal Health Assessment (PHA), enter information into your Personal Health Record (PHR), participate in the Incentive Program, and more. The new web site will be your one-stop shop for YP4H.

Benefits of the New YP4H Web Site:

Coverage Advisor Tool: With WebMD's Coverage Advisor Tool, you'll be able to view all of your health plan options in an easy-to-understand, side-by-side format, so that you can determine what options are most appropriate for you and your family. You'll also be able to estimate out-of-pocket expenses including premiums, office visits, and prescription costs, which will help you better determine how much you'd like to set aside in a Health Care Flexible Spending Account. And since the new web site will be launching right before Open Enrollment (November 3–14), you'll have access to this interactive tool during your decision making.

PHR: With WebMD's PHR, you'll be able to capture all of your individual medical information in one, organized location—including shots, allergies, lab results, and medication history. You'll also be able to enter your family members' history so that everyone's information is in one location, just one simple log-in away. The PHR will be helpful in partnering with your primary care physician because in addition to printing this information for your next visit, you'll also be able to grant your physician viewing access.

Symptom Checker: This is an intuitive way to check your symptoms and research possible health problems. Just click on the part of the body where you feel symptoms and follow the prompts.

Medical Encyclopedia: Use this reference to access reliable, up-to-date information on health issues and suggested treatments.

Newsletters: These resources will provide targeted health information, links to WebMD health tools, and up-to-the-minute medical information based on your interests.

What's a PIN Letter?

A few days prior to October 29, you will receive a letter at your listed mailing address with an eight-digit PIN that is specific to you. Please keep this letter in a safe location because you will be asked to enter your PIN during the initial registration process. By entering your PIN during registration, an extra layer of security will be wrapped around your personal health information.
