Labor Relations
ER Consultants administer and interpret the collective bargaining agreement, facilitate problem resolution and work to enhance the collective bargaining process. We also provide guidance to the university related to labor union activities.
Labor Relations involves communication with employees who have joined unions for the right to bargain collectively with their employer on matters concerning working conditions. Subjects that directly impact employees' pay and benefits, hours of work, or working conditions are common bargaining topics.
