Meet the Consultants

Stephanie Berland, PHR
Stephanie received her Bachelor's in Journalism from Kent State University and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources. Stephanie joined Consulting Services in 2000. Her areas of focus include employee and labor relations, training, web development and sexual harassment and discrimination investigations. Prior to joining Consulting Services, Stephanie held several positions in Human Resources at UnitedHealthcare. Stephanie is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.

Sheryl Donaldson, PHR
Sheryl received her Master of Arts in Counseling and Guidance at OSU and her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Cleveland State University. She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources and as a Targeted Selection Administrator and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Sheryl joined the CST staff in 1996. Her areas of focus include employee relations, informal dispute resolution, selection and interviewing strategies, compensation and training. Sheryl also coordinates a Human Resource certification workshop for Human Resource Professionals. Prior to joining CST, Sheryl served as a Selection Consultant for OHR's Employment Services.

Olga Esquivel-Gonzalez, JD, PHR
Olga received her Bachelor's, with Honors, in History and Latin American Studies from the University of Massachusetts and her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut Law School. Olga acts as a senior consultant and provides leadership to the Office of Human Resources on employment law issues and responds to external charges of discrimination before the EEOC, OCRC, DOL and OFCCP. In addition, Olga provides leadership and consultation to various OHR and Consulting Services projects and conducts training workshops on FMLA, sexual harassment, conflict resolution, harassment and other topics. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and the Society for Human Resource Management.

Marjie Hamlett, PHR
Marjie received her Bachelor's in Human Resource Management from OSU and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources. Marjie joined Consulting Services in 2001. Her areas of focus include diversity, benefits, training, and employee and labor relations. Prior to joining Consulting Services, Marjie worked in our Benefits Services area and was a Human Resource Manager for Whetstone Care Center in Columbus. Marjie is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio.

Chitra S. Iyer, JD, CCP
Chitra received her Bachelor's in Political Science from Albion College, Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit School of Law, and is a Certified Compensation Professional. Her focus is on partnering with departments in anticipating and meeting their HR needs in areas including, but not limited to, employee and labor relations, people development, coaching, training, classification and salary administration, change management, and conducting investigations. Prior to joining Consulting Services, Chitra was the Assistant Vice President for Human Resources at Franklin University.

T. Glenn Hill, PHR
Glenn received his Bachelor's from OU and his Master's in Education from University of Pittsburgh and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources. Glenn joined Consulting Services in 2001. His areas of focus include employee and labor relations and training and development. Prior to joining Consulting Services, Glenn was an Employee Relations Consultant for Ohio Health System Services, Training & Development Specialist for Doctor's Hospital and Staff Training /Safety Specialist for the Pittsburgh Job Corps Center. Glenn is a member of Human Resource Association of Central Ohio.

Todd Hunter, PHR
Todd received his Bachelor's in Journalism/Communication and a Master's in Labor and Human Resources from OSU and is a certified Professional in Human Resources. He joined Consulting Services in 1996. Todd's areas of focus include employee and labor relations, dispute resolution, discrimination complaint investigation, training, and classification and salary administration. Prior to joining Consulting Services, Todd spent seven years with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. Todd is a member of The Ohio Public Employer Labor Relations Association and the Society for Human Resources Management.

Julie McDonald, SPHR
Julie received her Bachelor's in Education from OSU and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources. Julie joined Consulting Services in October of 2004. Her areas of focus are employee development and accountability as well as conflict resolution, employee and labor relations, training, and conducting investigations. Prior to joining the Consulting Services team, she held roles at the OSU Medical Center in Employee and Labor Relations and Employment. Julie has also held the roles of Internal Performance Consultant, Professional & Managerial Recruiter and Employment Supervisor at DFS, Inc. Julie is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Carmeen Yarbrough, PHR
Carmeen received her Bachelor's in Human Resource Management at OSU and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources. Carmeen joined Consulting Services in 1999. Her areas of focus include employee and labor relations and community outreach. Carmeen currently sits on the Senate Diversity Committee. Prior to joining Consulting Services, Carmeen was a Benefits Specialist for KPMG and Human Resource Manager for MedOhio Health, Inc. Carmeen is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Meet the Support Staff

Marcy Grier
Marcy joined the Consulting Services in 2000. Her areas of focus are administrative support for the Consulting Services Team, web and database development, and providing new user training for the Peoplesoft Version 8 system. Prior to joining Consulting Services, Marcy was a Human Resource Associate at the University Medical Center's Employment Office.

Kim McKee
Kim joined Consulting Services in 2000. Her areas of focus are to manage the fiscal and administrative support area for Consulting Services. Prior to joining Consulting Services, Kim spent six years as a public safety dispatcher & records manager, nine years in OHR Employment Services & Workers Compensation areas, and has worked as a veterinary technician & radio air personality.
