Ohio State University Child Care Program
The Ohio State University Child Care Program provides quality developmentally appropriate early education for the children of university students, faculty and staff. Ohio State is proud to offer this program as a department of the Office of Human Resources.
As an active and integral program of the university community, the Child Care Program also supports Ohio State’s academic mission through learning opportunities for Ohio State students and faculty. Academic activities may include research, class projects, observations and field placement.

Licensing/Accreditation
The Child Care Program is licensed by the State of Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
Both of the OSU Child Care Program’s facilities are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). This prestigious recognition has been achieved by less than 10% of early childhood programs nationwide. NAEYC accreditation is a rigorous, voluntary process by which early childhood programs demonstrate that they meet national standards of excellence.
