Leaves of Absence

The following are the leave programs the university offers. All leave programs are subject to eligibility requirements.

What is considered leave?

Paid and unpaid Leaves of Absence, include:
  • Faculty Professional Leave Program
  • Family and Medical Leave (FML)
  • Jury Duty
  • Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA)
  • Military Leave
  • Organ Donation Leave
  • Parental Leave
  • Personal Leave of Absence (PLOA)
  • Sick Leave
  • Vacation Leave

 

How do I apply for leave?

Complete and submit an Application for Leave to your supervisor for approval. Contact your departmental human resource contact if you are unsure about your leave balances.
