Benefit/Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment is underway! Visit Open Enrollment for 2007 Benefits.

Eligible Ohio State faculty and staff may make enrollment and coverage changes to their benefit plans during designated enrollment periods. During Open Enrollment, you may add or drop coverage, switch plans, change level of coverage, or enroll/re-enroll in benefits. You may typically do the following annually:

  • Add to or drop spouse/child from health plan coverage
  • Switch medical plans or change level of coverage
  • Elect contribution amount for Dependent Care or Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

There may also be opportunities to enroll in Voluntary Group Life Insurance (VGTLI), Dependent Group Life Insurance (DGLI), or Select-Term Disability Insurance during special enrollment periods that will be announced in onCampus and reSources prior to enrollment.

You may make changes to your benefits outside of Open Enrollment if you have a qualifying status change, or in some cases, if you provide evidence of insurability. Contact the Office of Human Resources Customer Service Center for more information.
