A variety of life insurance options are available to protect faculty and staff, their same-sex domestic partners and their dependents. The university purchases Group Term Life insurance for eligible faculty and staff. Employees can also choose to purchase additional insurance for themselves, spouses and/or dependents at group rates.

Group Term Life Insurance (GTLI)
University-paid life insurance for eligible faculty and staff.

Voluntary Group Term Life Insurance (VGTLI)
Additional life insurance eligible employees may purchase for themselves, their spouses and their children at group rates.

Dependent Group Life Insurance (DGLI)
Additional life insurance eligible employees may purchase for their spouses, same-sex domestic partners and/or children at group rates.

The Life Event Web site provides you with information to consider when major life changes like retirement, marriage, or termination of employment occur.
