Disability Benefits

Assigned Disability Program Manager

Integrated Disability
Department that assists faculty and staff in applying for disability and workers' compensation benefits and coordinating leave, remain-at-work, return-to-work, disability separations and other programs if you become disabled.

Long-Term Disability (LTD)
Offers long-term income protection if you become unable to work because of a medical disability.

Short-Term Disability (STD)
Offers income protection to bridge the gap between disability eligibility and commencement of long-term disability if you become unable to work because of a medical disability.

Individual Disability Insurance (IDI)
Offers an individual policy that helps insure income not covered by the university Group Long-Term Disability (LTD) plan—provided the employee meets the simplified underwriting requirements and earns $100,000 or greater (annual base rate salary).

Workers' Compensation
Benefits provided for injuries or occupational diseases sustained at the workplace.

Unemployment
Wage replacement for those suffering a job loss.
