Many benefit publications are coded by benefit eligibility symbol. The symbols show which employee groups are eligible for a particular benefit.

There are some groups or categories of faculty and staff that have unique provisions. The following provides more information on each group:

Domestic Partner/Sponsored Dependent

• Same-Sex Domestic Partner
• Sponsored Dependents including opposite-sex domestic partners
• Dependent Eligibility Guidelines includes spouse, children, same-sex domestic partner, and sponsored dependents
